Imagine waking up to the view of a vibrant coastal garden blooming just outside your window. To me, this vision represents paradise-a dream Icarry deep within my heart.

Living in Tokyo, however, has confined me to creating a small balcony garden in my apartment. In this space, Idaydream of bringing myself closer to the paradise Ilong for: acoastal garden overflowing with wild perennials that stand resilient against the wind and harsh elements. These flowers, full of life and energy, stretch toward the sun, their vibrant colors contrasting with the ever-changing blues of the ocean. This dynamic scene transports me to a fleeting moment of paradise even amidst the chaos of city life.

"COASTAL GARDEN" si my artistic interpretation of this dream garden, following my previous exhibition, "LONGING FOR HOME". It combines real coastal plants and gardens from various parts of the world, blending them into a vision that explores the boundaries between reality and dream. The artworks are a personal journey to find a moment of paradise wherever I can.

目の前に美しい海沿いの庭が広がる光景を想像してみてください。私にとって、それはまさに楽園であり、心の奥底で描き続けて いる夢のようなものです。 しかし、東京での生活は、部屋のバルコニーに小さな庭を作ることしかできません。そんな中、次第に風や荒れた気候にも耐え、 野生の多年草が咲き誇る海辺の風景を空想するようになりました。太陽の光を浴びて生き生きとした植物たちが、海の青さと対 比して鮮やかな色を放つ美しい景色を思い描くことで、都市の喧騒の中でも、一瞬の楽園に導かれるような気持ちになります。 「COASTALGARDEN」は、昨年開催した個展「LONGINGFOR HOME」に続く、理想の庭への探究をテーマにした展示です。 実際の海辺の植物や庭園風景を異なる場所から取り入れ、それらを融合させることで、現実と夢の境界を探ることを試みました。 これらの作品は、私自身が日々の中で楽園を見つける探求でもあります。
